Valentine’s day is all about mending broken hearts, why not broken crayons too? If you want an adorable and affordable gift for all the little valentines in your life, these darling crayon hearts are just the ticket.
Like our cute heart-shaped petit fours, this tutorials takes ordinary everyday materials you already have in thehouse, and turns them into something extraordinary! Just melt down all the old crayon stubs into little heart-shaped knick-knack and hand them out come February 14.
Plus, you can still use these hearts as crayons once they’ve been melted down. It’s a great way to recycle all those crunched up crayons at the bottom of the box. Your kids will get back their favorite (forcibly retired) colors, and you’ll have an awesome memento for them, perfect for showing them how much you love ‘em! Sounds like a win-win, if you ask us.
